ENGINEERING GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES ( EGDP) 2016
Viscar through its CSR initiative will be fully sponsoring a select few engineering graduates to the program this September. The program chosen under scholarship is the Introduction to Telecommunications System Engineering.
The Engineering Graduate Development Program provides fresh graduates with an opportunity to grow industry oriented skills, career guidance and coaching as well as providing corporate with an opportunity to lower their cost of training new employees for optimal productivity within a short time.
Viscar Industrial Capacity Limited will run the three month Engineering Graduate Development Program for fifteen young graduates helping them gain competitive advantage by bridging the gap between classrooms based knowledge and industry requirements. The trainees will go through a 360 degrees training that upscales their technical skills, project management skills, entrepreneurship as well as soft skills that are highly necessary in the job market as well as engineering leadership.
The training is facilitated by engineers who are currently excelling in their practice.
Candidates who successfully complete these training will be given first priority for opportunities in the company’s Technical Resourcing Product as resources in the various projects within East and Central Africa. They will also be recommended to employers and assisted to acquire jobs with renowned players in their areas of specialization.
