Nairobi, 25th January 2012- Viscar Industrial Capacity Limited organized a cocktail to celebrate and highlight its Graduate Training Program (GTP) that has been active since 2008. The cocktail themed –Investing in Training-, saw an attendance of players in the engineering fraternity from different industries including manufacturing, telecommunication and the energy sector.
With more than 60 students having through the courses offered in telecommunication and mechanical engineering and successfully been absorbed in the industry, the GTP has attracted more graduates every year and given them not only knowledge but also a field experience during the course of their internships.
Guest speakers at the cocktail
Among the speakers was Mr.OwateWambai- Director Technical Education, Prof. ShaukatAbdulrazak, PhD, FBS,FASI,MBS Secretary National Council for Science and Technology, Eng. Julius Riungu- Vice Chairman, Institution of Engineers of Kenya and Eng. Johnson Ole Nchoe , Head of IT&T at KPLC who endorsed the Graduate Training Program to both private and public companies that were represented in the event.
