Konza Technopolis Development Authority: Consultancy Services for Operationalization and Innovation Ecosystem for Konza National Data Center and Smart City Facilities Project

Viscar Industrial Capacity won the contract in partnership with Moi University and Eptisa. In line with our goal to drive innovation and excellence in capacity building, Viscar’s role was to be a local partner providing local talent whilst upskilling in the diverse emerging technology areas of the smart city and data centre. KoTDA needed partners that would provide expert advice in the commercialization of the operationalization of the data centre and smart city facilities.

Some of the milestones of the project courtesy of Viscar includes:

• Developed the Strategy for Business Continuity of the Data Center and developed the Disaster Recovery Implementation Plan.
• Developed the Security Controls base on ISO 27001 for the DC and define the information security implementation approaches.
• Developed DC Migration Strategies.
• Currently Ongoing deliverables include-:
